The shadow is actually of our jeep, taken at some obscene early hour in the morning. Four of us hired it for a 4 day trip across the most inhospitable terrain. Whilst camping for the night, these Desert Fox’s, utterly not shy, would just come up sniffing for food.
They are not tame, as they rarely see humans for any length of time. But just seem to have no fear and keen to sniff food out. We actually lost our packed food during the night. Very cunning.
But great close-ups possible.

They always spell and pronounce my last name incorrectly. What is so hard with the name Lainez! really even spell check has a problem with it.
Last name is spelled the Hispanic way All. The. Time. It’s the white way! THE. WHITE. WAY! DAMMIT!!! When people spell my last name wrong they think I’m Hispanic. x(
The reason I go by Andi: Kaci is pronounced as Casey. Not Cassie, not Khaki (because YES, I’ve actually gotten that before).
